Hi there,
Just some exhibition and other news from my studio...
Next week the exhibition "Verre Gezichten Dichtbij" will open in the Domkerk in Utrecht. Conceived to shine a spotlight on the community of refugees and people who have left their home countries and now call the Netherlands their home, this exhibition shows work made in collaboration with portrait artists throughout the Netherlands.
My painting "Adrijan", included in the exhibition, is a portrait of Adrijan Siniša Rakić, founder of Wolkentheater, who works in my studio building. His personal story is very inspiring, one of many stories you will read about at the exhibition.

Adrijan, 32 x 42 cm
The exhibition will run from 5 April to 25 May

Summer Course in the Loire
Things are shaping up really nicely for my summer course at Le Grippault! There are still a couple of places left, so if you are still thinking about it, grab your chance! It's going to be a wonderful week in a stunning location, with a lovely group of painters. Contact Le Grippault for more information and booking.

The Colour of Flowers
Lastly, you can also join me for a Spring Flower painting course at the Schoolhouse for Art from 14 to 17 April. Flowers are such a fantastic way to learn about colour and expression, so why don't you join me?

Meanwhile, I'm busy in the studio working on a number of commissions. I'll tell you more about them next time, hopefully...
All the best,
Bairbre
